Welcome to ROD24! By using our website and services, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions.
1. Eligibility
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. • You must have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts under applicable law. • Drivers must hold a valid driving license, registration certificate, and permits as required by law.
2. User Accounts
• Users and drivers must register using a valid mobile number, email, and identity. • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for false or misleading information.
3. Services
• The Platform connects riders with independent drivers for transportation services. • We act as a technology platform only; we do not provide transportation services ourselves. • Drivers operate as independent contractors, not employees or agents of the company.
4. Booking & Rides
• Users can request rides via the app. Drivers may accept or reject ride requests at their discretion. • Estimated fares shown are indicative; final fares may vary based on distance, time, tolls, surcharges, and applicable taxes. • Cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee, as per our policy.
5. Payments
• Payments may be made via cash, card, UPI, wallets, or other digital methods available on the Platform. • For digital payments, charges are processed through secure third-party payment gateways. • We may deduct a service fee/commission from driver earnings. • Users are responsible for any applicable taxes, tolls, and surcharges.
6. User Obligations
Riders must: - Treat drivers respectfully. - Wear seatbelts and follow traffic laws. - Not engage in abusive, unlawful, or harmful conduct. - Not damage the vehicle or delay trips unnecessarily. Drivers must: - Maintain valid permits, insurance, and fitness of vehicles. - Drive safely and follow traffic rules. - Not engage in intoxicated or reckless driving. - Keep vehicles clean and roadworthy.
7. Safety & Prohibited Conduct
• Users must not misuse the Platform for fraud, harassment, or illegal activity. • Weapons, illegal substances, or hazardous materials are strictly prohibited. • We may use GPS and location data to track rides for safety and service optimization.
8. Ratings & Feedback
• Riders and drivers may rate each other after rides. • We reserve the right to suspend or ban accounts with consistently poor ratings, misconduct, or policy violations.
9. Limitation of Liability
• We are a technology platform and are not responsible for accidents, delays, loss, damages, or personal injuries arising during rides. • All disputes, damages, or claims must be resolved directly between riders and drivers. • Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law and shall not exceed the amount paid for the ride in question.
10. Intellectual Property
• The Platform, software, and content belong to ROD24. • Users may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or distribute our technology without prior written consent.
11. Suspension & Termination
• We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or misuse of the Platform. • Users may delete their accounts at any time via the app.
12. Privacy Policy
• Your personal data is collected, stored, and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. • Location data may be shared with drivers, riders, or authorities as required by law.
13. Dispute Resolution
• Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through customer support. • If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Prayajraj, Uttar Pradesh. • Governing law: Indian Law.
14. Amendments
• We may update these Terms at any time. • Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
